Listed Building Refurbishment and extension

The project involved an extension to and refurbishment of an existing Listed Building.

Underpinning was required, together with substructure retaining walls, to suit the proposed ground levels and to ensure the stability of the existing structure during the construction phase.

Traditional construction methods were used for the new extension.

Localised timber repairs were sensitively undertaken where required, to address existing defects and to the approval of the Conservation officer.
